During the two-day period of Friday, September 14 and Saturday, September 15, ten TTR-ranked fighters were in action. Six, Jose Carlos Ramirez, Dmitry Kudryashov, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, David Lemieux, Jaime Munguia, and Roman Gonzalez, racked up victories while four, Antonio Orozco, Lolenga Mock, Gennady Golovkin, and Gary "Spike" O'Sullivan, lost. Orozco was clearly outpointed by Ramirez and O'Sullivan was blown out in the opening round by Lemieux. Mock and Golovkin dropped close majority decisions to Avni Yildirim and Alvarez respectively and were seen by many as the rightful winners of those bouts.
