During the two-day period of Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19, five boxers ranked by the participating members of TTR as being among the best currently fighting in their respective weight classes were in action. Three, Takuya Kogawa, Byron Rojas, and Saul "Baby" Juarez, won while Hekkie Budler and Oswaldo Novoa were defeated.

Four other boxers, Edis Tatli, Alejandro "Payasito" Hernandez, Micki Nielsen, and Joebert Alvarez, scored victories which may propel them into or back into TTR's rankings.
