The Transnational Boxing Rankings Board's rankings- based on fights held through August 16, 2015- were posted on the Transnationals' website August 18, 2015. There were changes only in the cruiserweight top ten despite Transnational #5 ranked lightweight contender Raymundo Beltran being suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for PED usage.

On August 13, Beltran, who tested positive for the banned anabolic steroid Stanozolol following his second-round TKO of Takahiro Ao on May 1, was suspended by the NSAC for nine months, retroactive to May 1. The NSAC also was fined him $25,500, and changed his win over Ao to a No Decision. Beltran also must reimburse the NSAC for the costs of his post-fight tests and must supply a clean sample after his suspension in order to be re-licensed.

Some TBRB members, including myself, felt very strongly that Beltran had forfeited his right to be ranked and that before he can be ranked again, he must serve his suspension, pay his fine, comply with what is required of him by the NSAC, and win a meaningful bout after being permitted to return to the ring. Unfortunately, we weren't in the majority. By taking an overly cautious, conservative approach to the PED problem and allowing the suspended Beltran to remain in the rankings, it unfortunately gives the appearance that the TBRB doesn't disapprove of what Beltran did.
