On Saturday, August 1, 2012 Olympic gold medalist Luke Campbell and former IBO world champion Emiliano Marsili scored victories which may propel then into TTR's rankings. Campbell, 27, who won his gold medal as a bantamweight, captured the vacant WBC International lightweight title by stopping tough Tommy "Boom Boom" Coyle. The 38-year-old Marsili, who vacated the European lightweight title to concentrate on securing a world title shot, outpointed former WBC world super featherweight champion Gamaliel Diaz to win the vacant WBC Silver lightweight championship.
