During the two-day period of Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28, seven fighters currently ranked by the participating members of TTR as being among the best in their respective divisions were in action. Five, Wanheng Menayothin, Cedric Agnew, Terence Crawford, Oswaldo Novoa, and Ilunga Makabu, were victorious while two, Ricky Burns and Yuriorkis Gamboa, were defeated.

Sor Chitpattana (WBC #6; 25-0, 16 KOs) unanimously outpointed Valero (17-15-3, 11 KOs) over 10 rounds. Valero had come into the match having won twelve of his last thirteen including a decision over former lineal, WBC, and Ring Magazine World flyweight champion Sonny Boy Jaro.
