Fighting on the same card as their brother Daiki, Koki and Tomoki Kameda scored victories. Koki's win over former two-time WBA super flyweight champion Alexander Munoz brought him the vacant WBA bantamweight title.

2010-12-26	TTR RANKED FIGHTERS IN ACTION- December 26- Daiki Kameda Wins By Split Decision
Earlier today at the Super Arena in Saitama, Saitama, Japan, TTR #3 ranked flyweight Daiki Kameda retained the WBA title with a controversial, 12-round, split decision over TTR unranked Silvio Olteanu.

With no major heavyweight bouts scheduled for the rest of 2010, the heavyweight division will be the first of the seventeen divisions reviewed. For the review, TTR's rankings through December 12 and results through December 25 were used.

Earlier today in Bangkok, Thailand, TTR #2 ranked strawweight Oleydong Sithsamerchai, the reigning WBC champion, stayed active by scoring a TKO at 0:54 of the 4th round over TTR unranked Ricky Sharil Fabanyo of Indonesia. The non-title bout was scheduled for six rounds and was on a card headlined by Panomroonglek Kaiyarn-Hadaogym defending the WBC Silver International flyweight title.

2010-12-21	TTR RANKED FIGHTERS IN ACTION- Saturday, December 18
On Saturday, December 18, eleven boxers currently ranked by TTR's members as being among the best in their respective weight classes were in action. Seven, Marco Huck, Yoan Pablo Hernandez, Alexander Povetkin, Kubrat Pulev, Daniel Jacobs, and Ramon Garcia, were victorious. One, Denis Lebedev, suffered a razor-thin decision defeat, and four, Bernard Hopkins, Jean Pascal, Ulises Solis, and Luis Lazarte, were involved in two controversial majority decision draws.

2010-12-18	TTR RANKED FIGHTERS IN ACTION- Cloud and Solis Win
On Friday night, at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, two TTR ranked fighters, Tavoris Cloud and Odlanier Solis, were in action. Both were victorious. The card also featured the return of former WBA-WBC welterweight champion/former WBC super welterweight champion Ricardo Mayorga, a women's flyweight title unification bout, a 10-round heavyweight bout, and three matches showcasing prospects.

During the two-day period of Wednesday, December 8 and Thursday, December 9, two fighters currently ranked by TTR's members as being among the best in their respective weight classes saw action with very different results. On Wednesday, Anthony Mundine was shockingly upset by Australian Contender winner Garth Wood while on Thursday night, Tomasz Adamek continued his winning ways as a heavyweight by halting Vinny Maddalone.

During the two-day period of Friday, December 3rd and Saturday, December 4th, twelve boxers currently included in TTR's rankings saw action. 2010-12-06	Amir Khan: Boxing's New Golden Boy
There are many famous monikers or nicknames that boxers use to market themselves or describe their fighting style. There's a list of legendary names like; Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns, Marvelous Marvin Hagler, "The Greatest" Muhammad Ali. Sometimes these names are passed down to future generations when a fighter displays characteristics of the fighters before him. We've seen the case with the name "Sugar", made famous by "Sugar" Ray Robinson, who you can find at #1 on most boxing experts Greatest of All-Time list. Later another fighter who had shown promise with combination punching and thunderous power in each hand was given the name. That fighter's name was Ray Leonard, a generation later another fighter by the name of Shane Mosley would be given the name "Sugar" as he dazzle the world of boxing with fast combination punching a power that would seem to be beyond his weight class. Also Mike Tyson's name has taken on a nickname of its own, used to describe a fighter with a mixture of speed and power with an aggressive style such as Joan "Little Tyson" Guzman or Ruslan "White Tyson" Chagaev. It is this practice of passing down of names from generation to generation that has often lead boxing on the search for new fighters today that remind us of the fighters of yesterday.

2010-12-01	TTR RANKED FIGHTERS IN ACTION- November 30- Francisco and Cermeno Win by TKO
On Tuesday, November 30, two more TTR ranked fighters were in action and both scored TKO victories. Drian Francisco won the vacant WBA interim super flyweight title by halting Duangpetch Kokietgym and former WBA interim bantamweight titleholder Nehomar Cermeno moved up to the super bantamweight division and stopped previously unbeaten prospect Hugo Berrio.
