Last Friday, Showtime and their serie Showbox had a heavyweight card for boxing fans featuring two unbeaten heavyweight prospects Chris Arreola and Eddie Chambers.





Firts fight broadcasted on the card was Chris Arreola (20-0-0 18KOs), a 26 years old, 6 feet 4 inches tall right handed fighter against Malcolm Tann (23-3-0 12KOs) a 28 years old, 6 feet 6 inches tall right handed fighter. Arreola dictated the pace of this fight, thowing wide looping shots combinations and basicaly doing too much for Tann who simply leaned against the ropes blocking flurries. The cumulative effect of the shots took its toll in the later rounds, and Tann abdicated and couldnt take the quantity of punches thrown at him with determination.











Tann still gave a good test to unbeaten prospect Arreola by trying to exchange with him at various times, by Arreola definately had an edge on effectiveness.Pretty entertaining fight.














The main event of the night was a heavyweight bout between experienced Dominick Guinn (28-5-1 19KOs), a 6 feet 3 inches right handed 32 years old fighter against undefeated Eddie Chambers (28-0-0 16KOs), a 6 feet 1 inch right handed 25 years old fighter. Guinn just had KO Zuri Lawrence in a brutal fashion in teh second round of his last fight.





The fight consisted of continual exchanges on the inside. Chambers displayed all his arsenal, quick punching, and effective countering in combinations.











The judges gave a unanimous decision to still undefeated prospect Eddie Chambers by a wide margin. One judge gave all the rounds to Chambers.
