The winners of those bouts were former World Boxing Federation (2011-2013) and former World Boxing Council (2020-2023) world cruiserweight champion Ilunga Junior Makabu and former Universal Boxing Organization (2023-2024) world bantamweight champion Fadhili Majiha, the current WBC Africa super bantamweight champion.
