During the two-day period of Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7, eleven men ranked by TTR as being among the best currently fighting in their respective divisions were in action. Eight, Shokichi Iwata, Shakur Stevenson, Robson Conceicao, Keyshawn Davis, William Zepeda, Ricardo Sandoval, Fernando Daniel Martinez, and Seiya Tsutsumi, were victorious while three, O'Shaquie Foster, Giovanni Cabrera, and Kazuto Ioka, lost (to Conceicao controversially, Zepeda, and Martinez respectively).

- ESPN had Foster winning by the score of 119-109 and I scored the bout for TTR's Main Page and had Foster winning, 118-110.
- In my opinion, this decision is the worst so far this year and, as such, is the leading contender for Robbery Of The Year.

- The 32-year-old Martinez unanimously outpointed Ioka, 35, by the scores of 117-111, 120-108, and 116-112.
- Martinez improved to 4-0 with 1 KO in world title bouts while Ioka, who has held titles in 4 different divisions, slips to 22-3-1 with 11 KOs in world title contests.
