Glanton and Suslenkov Win in Moscow
Pictured: Brandon Glanton

On Friday, June 7, at the Dynamo Volleyball Arena in Moscow, Russia, Brandon Glanton knocked out Aleksei Egorov in the 11th round to win the vacant WBA International cruiserweight title and undefeated heavyweight Artem Suslenkov, who owns a win over Michael Hunter in an IBA Pro bout, scored a third round knockout of Wilmer Vasquez.

Although none of the above fighters are currently ranked by TTR, Glanton's and Suslenkov's victories may impact TTR's rankings.

Cruiserweight Bout-
Brandon Glanton (20-2, 17 KOs)
Aleksei Egorov (12-2, 8 KOs)
- This bout was fought for the vacant WBA International cruiserweight title. Glanton's WBO International junior heavyweight (cruiserweight) title was not on the line.
- As reported by Antoine Patry Deslauriers, Egorov had success landing his counter left hook because Glanton was often predictable. However, Glanton showed why his nickname, "Bulletproof", is apropos. In round 11, right after Egorov purposely headbutted Glanton, Glanton KO'd him with a body shot.

Heavyweight Bout-
Artem Suslenkov (11-0, 8 KOs as per BoxRec; also listed as 12-0, 8 KOs)
Wilfredo Vasquez (12-4-2, 8 KOs)
- Note: BoxRec does not include Suslenkov's 4/14/24 UD 8 win over Michael Hunter in its database. The bout took place on an IBA Pro card.
