During the two-day period of Saturday, January 21 and Sunday, January 22, six boxers ranked by TTR as being among the best currently competing in their respective weight classes were in action. Four, Liam Smith, Richard Riakporhe, Joseph Parker, and Albert Ramirez, registered victories while two, Chris Eubank, Jr. and Krzysztof Glowacki, suffered defeats.


Saturday, January 21, 2023-

Middleweight Bout-
Liam "Beefy" Smith (TTR #6, The Ring #7, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #9- all at 154; 33-3-1, 20 KOs)

Chris Eubank, Jr. (TTR #4, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #4, The Ring #5- all at 160; 32-3, 23 KOs)
- After an even first frame, Eubank outboxed Smith in rounds 2 and 3.
- Smith hurt Eubank in round 4 and followed up with a barrage of punches that sent Eubank to the canvas. An unsteady Eubank beat the referee's count but was soon floored again, resulting in the bout being stopped.

Cruiserweight Bout-
Richard Riakporhe (TTR #7, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #7, The Ring #9; 16-0, 12 KOs)

Krzysztof Glowacki (TTR #12; 32-4, 20 KOs)
- Riakporhe hurt Glowacki in round 2.
- In round 4, after hurting the two-time former WBO World champion again, Riakporhe pummeled him until the referee mercifully stopped the bout.

Heavyweight Bout-
Joseph Parker (The Ring #8, TTR #9, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #9; 31-3, 21 KOs)

- Parker weighed in at 245 1/4; Massey at 213 1/4.
- The former WBO World heavyweight champion unanimously outpointed the former IBO World cruiserweight champion by the scores of 96-93, 97-92, and 97-93.

- This bout was fought for the vacant WBO Global junior heavyweight (cruiserweight) title.
- Ramirez, whose WBA Continental Americas and WBC FECARBOX light heavyweight titles were not on the line, was a late substitute. Dickson, the reigning Ghanaian cruiserweight champion whose title also was not at stake, was originally slated to fight Russia-based Cuban Lenar Perez (10-0, 10 KOs) for the vacant Global title. Perez was forced to withdraw because of visa problems.
- Ramirez weighed in at 197 1/2; Dickson at 186 3/4.
