On Saturday, January 7, four fighters ranked by TTR as being among the best currently campaigning in their respective divisions were in action. Two, Gervonta "Tank" Davis and Jaron "Boots" Ennis, were victorious while two, Hector Luis Garcia and Rashidi Ellis, were defeated.

- Garcia was hurt in the eighth round and did not come out of his corner after bell sounded for round 9.
- Davis retained the WBA World lightweight title.
