Lineal, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, and The Ring World Cruiserweight Titles-
Jai Opetaia (22-0, 17 KOs)
Unan. Dec. 12
Champion Mairis Briedis (28-2, 20 KOs)
- As per TTR member Tocsin, "Opetaia looked like a star during the first 6 rounds and was clowning Briedis with speed and movement. Broke his nose with a sweet uppercut too and looked a level above. But then Briedis hurt him in round 7 and began a comeback, hurting him a few more times and swelling his eye up. Last round Opetaia's jaw was seriously damaged and he looked about a minute from being stopped, but he hung on and won a decision. Opetaia's jaw was in such a state that he couldn't speak and was thus unable to give an interview. I had it 7-5 for Opetaia, giving him the entire first half as well as the 8th or 9th."
