During the two-day period of Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11, eight boxers ranked by TTR as being among the best currently competing in their respective weight classes were slated to see action. Six, Hiroto Kyoguchi, Richard Riakporhe, Daniel Dubois, Edgar Berlanga, Jaime Munguia, and Carlos Ocampo, were victorious while one, Esteban Bermudez, was defeated (by Kyoguchi). A seventh, TTR #15 ranked junior middleweight contender Hassan Mwakinyo, was scheduled to fight in the Dominican Republic. We are waiting for the result of his bout to be reported.

- The bout was also for Kyoguchi's WBA Super World light flyweight title.
- Kyoguchi busted up Bermudez but the WBA "regular" champ impressed with his tenacity. He fought back until he was finally overwhelmed by Kyoguchi's ferocious attack.

- The bout was fought for Berlanga's WBO NABO super middleweight title.
- Berlanga weighed in at 167 1/2; Angulo at 169 1/2, 1 1/2 pounds over the divisional limit. As a result, Angulo was ineligible to win the title.
- Berlanga won by the scores of 98-92, 99-91, and 99-91. He retained the WBO NABO title.
