Pictured: Dmitry Bivol

On Saturday, May 7, five fighters ranked by TTR as being among the best currently competing in their respective divisions were in action. Three won- Ryan Rozicki by an extremely controversial split decision, Dmitry Bivol by a closer-than-it-should-have-been unanimous decision, and Montana Love by a rightfully close unanimous decision; and two lost- Kongfah CP Freshmart (birth name: Jakrawut Majungoen) by TKO and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez to Bivol.

Tanes Ongjunta (10-1, 5 KOs)

Kongfah CP Freshmart (birth name: Jakrawut Majungoen; TTR #18 at 115; 41-2-1, 20 KOs)
- This bout was fought for Ongjunta's WBA Asia flyweight title. CP Freshmart/Majungoen's WBC Asian Boxing Council Silver super flyweight title was not on the line.
- Ongjunta has now registered six consecutive wins since his March 1, 2020 TKO-8 loss to current WBC Asian Boxing Council super flyweight champion Adrian Lerasan in a bout contested for the then vacant WBA Asia super flyweight title.

Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada-

Cruiserweight Bout-
Ryan Rozicki (TTR #16; 15-1, 14 KOs)
Split Dec. 10
Yamil Alberto Peralta (13-1, 6 KOs)
- This bout was for the vacant WBC International cruiserweight title. Peralta's WBC Continental Latino American and FAB Argentine cruiserweight titles were not on the line.
- Peralta was penalized one point for holding in round 10.
- The point deduction proved to be the difference between a split decision draw and a split decision victory for Rozicki.
- The scores were 97-93 and 95-94 for Rozicki and 95-94 for Peralta.
- After reviewing the bout, the WBC has ordered that the International title remain vacant, that Rozicki and Peralta fight an immediate rematch, and that the rematch be officiated by a neutral panel of judges to include no one from either Canada or Argentina.
