On Tuesday, April 26, at the Rangsit International Stadium in Rangsit, Thailand, defending WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental bantamweight champion Petch CPF retained his title with a 10-round, unanimous decision over Filipino challenger Alvin Medura. Petch, whose birth name is Tasana Salapat and is also known as Petch CP Freshmart and as Petch Sor Chitpattana, improved to 65-1 with 48 KOs. His only defeat came in December 2018 when he lost a bout for the WBC Interim World bantamweight title to Takuma Inoue by decision in Japan. That's the only bout Petch has had outside of his native Thailand.

Medura, who came into the bout off a decision win over Filipino veteran Ardin Diale, slipped to 10-6 with 7 KOs. He's now 0-5 outside of the Philippines with three losses in Japan and two in Thailand.

On the undercard, three boxers made their professional debuts and all three suffered defeats.

Main event:

Bantamweight Bout-
Petch CPF (birth name: Tasana Salapat; AKA Petch CP Freshmart; AKA Petch Sor Chitpattana; 65-1, 48 KOs)
Unan. Dec. 10
Alvin Medura (10-6, 7 KOs)
- The scores were 97-93, 99-91, and 97-93.

Undercard:

Junior Middleweight vs. Middleweight Bout-
Tinnaphop Kittipayak (5-0, 5 KOs)
TKO-4 1:49
middleweight Chavalit Wonglun (0-1)
- The 16-year-old Kittpaysak, who, in his second pro bout, stopped the then (and still) highly regarded prospect Phatiphan Krungklang, halted the debuting Wonglun. Kittipayak's height, reach, and skill overcame the stocky Wonglun's strength advantage.

Welterweight Bout-
Petkhaikaew P. Petkhaikaew (birth name: Wachirasak Waiyawong; 6-4-1, 4 KOs)
TKO-3 2:25
Milad Bagheri (0-1)
- Petkhaikaew/Waiyawong improved to 2-0-1 with 1 KO in 2022 by stopping the debuting Bagheri, an overmatched 17-year-old Thailand-based Iranian.

Junior Bantamweight Bout-
Suphaphon Hanvichachay (3-0, 2 KOs)
Unan. Dec. 6
Thaweeporn Kaewprasert (0-1)
- The debuting Kaewprasert forced the highly touted Hanvichachay to go the distance for the first time.
