- Defending WBA Oceania light heavyweight champion Chevalier weighed in at 174 1/2. Quinlan missed weight, tipping the scale at 176 1/4, and was ineligible to win the title.
- Chevalier unanimously outpointed the former IBO World super middleweight champion by the scores of 98-92, 99-91, and 99-91.
