During the two-day period of Friday, October 29 and Saturday, October 30, five boxers ranked by TTR as being among the best currently fighting in their respective divisions were in action. Four, Carlos Canizales, Jose Zepeda, Jonas Sultan, and Jaron Ennis, won, and one, Jamal James, lost.

- The scores were 98-92, 98-92, and 99-91.
- Former WBA World champion Canizales won the vacant WBA Fedecaribe light flyweight title.

Junior Welterweight Bout-
Jose Zepeda (TTR #3,Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #3; The Ring #3; 35-2, 2 NCs, 27 KOs)

- Zepeda decked Vargas twice.
- Zepeda retained the WBC Silver super lightweight title.

Bantamweight Bout-
Jonas Sultan (TTR #19; 18-5, 11 KOs)

Carlos Caraballo (14-1, 14 KOs)
- The bout was fought for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental title.
- Sultan scored the bouts first two knockdowns, dropping Caraballo in rounds 2 and 3.
- Later in round 3, Caraballo was credited with a knockdown when Sultan's glove touched the canvas.
- Caraballo bounced back in rounds 4 and 5 but Sultan decked Caraballo with a hard right in round 6.
- Again, Caraballo took over in rounds 7 and 8 but only to have Sultan floor him with a left hook in round 9.
- Sultan won by three 94-93 scores.

Jaron "Boots" Ennis (TTR #7, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #7, The Ring #7; 28-0, 1 ND, 26 KOs)

- Ennis floored Dulorme twice. The first time was with a overhand right from an orthodox stance. The second time, from a southpaw stance, was with a three-punch combination ending with a straight left. After the second knockdown, Dulorme tried but was unable to beat the referee's ten-count.

Welterweight Bout-
Radzhab Butaev (14-0, 1 NC, 11 KOs)

Jamal James (TTR #9, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #9; 27-2, 12 KOs)
- The bout was contested for James' WBA World title.
- At the time of the stoppage, Butaev was leading on two cards, 77-74 and 77-74. James was ahead 76-75 on the third.
- Steve Farhood of Showtime had Butaev up 76-75.
