Last night, in the main event of a six-bout card held at the Los Andes Mall in Panama City, Panama, 24-year-old Keiver Fernandez of Venezuela knocked out Colombian veteran Jose Antonio Jimenez, 38, in the second round of a non-title bout. The victory may propel Fernandez in TTR's super flyweight Top 20.

- Fernandez' WBA Fedelatin title was not on the line.
- Fernandez has now won four consecutive bouts since losing by SD 10 to Orlando Penalba on February 8, 2020.


In the other bouts on the card, 23-year-old Orlando Mosquera of Panama unanimously outpointed Nicaragua-born Panamanian William Vargas, 22; veteran Juan "Pequita" Lopez of Venezuela TKOed favored Angel Mojica, 23, of Panama; Ibarra, Ecuador's Marlo Delgado, 28, stopped Brooklyn, New York-based Ecuadorian Mario Mina, 38; 26-year-old Bryan Mercado rose from two knockdowns to halt 32-year-old Panamanian journeyman Luis Garcia; and Rene de Leon Mazariegos, 29; won a decision over 28-year-old Edwin Opua of Panama.

- Mosquera weighed in at 127 2/4; Vargas at 127.
- Vargas, who owns a decision win over Manuel Vides, came into this bout off a TKO-1 win over Juan "Pequita" Lopez.
- Mosquera defeated Vargas by three 77-75 scores.

Angel Mojica (7-2, 5 KOs)
- Lopez bounced back from his June 19, 2021 TKO-1 loss to William Vargas to even the score with Mojica to whom he lost by decision on February 8, 2020.
- The 39-year-old Lopez has had an odd two years. He lost to Mojica in his only bout in 2020, held undefeated Orlando Penalba, who has wins over Mojica and Keiver Fernandez, to an upset draw in April, was stopped by Vargas in June, and, last night, convincingly upset Mojica in their rematch.
- Mojica was fighting for the first time since his win over Lopez.

- Delgado, who owns wins over Orlando Vasquez and Dionisio Miranda, weighed in at 170; Mina at 174.

- Ecuadorian prospect Mercado survived two first round knockdowns to rally and stop Garcia.
- Garcia lost for the seventh consecutive time.

- Guatemala's de Leon Mazariegos, who owns a win over Nicaraguan veteran Edwin Tercero, unanimously outpointed Opua by the scores of 58-56, 58-56, and 60-54.
