On Saturday, October 16, six fighters ranked by TTR as being among the best currently campaigning in the their respective weight classes were in action. Five, Chris Eubank, Jr., Mairis Briedis, Jesse Rodriguez, Jonathan Gonzalez, and David Cuellar, won their bouts while one, Elwin Soto, lost his (to Gonzalez).

Bermudez withdrew when the WBA would not sanction the fight. - Rodriguez dropped Burgos twice.
