During the two-day period of Friday, August 6 and Saturday, August 7, five fighters ranked by TTR as being among the best currently campaigning in their respective weight classes were in action. Three, Michael Conlan, Lee McGregor, and Kid Galahad, were victorious; one, James Dickens, lost (to Galahad); and one, Eimantas Stanionis, was involved in a No Decision.


Friday, August 6, 2021-

Featherweight Bout-
Michael "Mick" Conlan (TTR #16; 16-0, 8 KOs)
Unan. Dec. 12
TJ Doheny (22-3, 16 KOs)
- Conlan knocked Doheny down with a body shot in the fifth round and went on to win by the scores of 119-108, 116-111, and 116-111.
- The victory brought Conlan the vacant WBA Interim World title.

Bantamweight Bout-
Lee McGregor (Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #9, The Ring #10, TTR #16; 11-0, 9 KOs)

Vincent Legrand(32-1, 17 KOs)
- Legrand decked McGregor in round 2.
- McGregor dropped Legrand for the full ten-count in round 4.
- McGregor successfully defended the EBU European title.

Kid Galahad (TTR #3, The Ring #3, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #4; 28-1, 17 KOs)

James "Jazza" Dickens (Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #9, TTR #10; 30-4, 11 KOs)
- The Galahad-Dickens rematch was contested for the vacant IBF World title.
- Dickens was cut over his left eye by an accidental clash of heads in round 1.
- Galahad, who was penalized one point for repeatedly stepping on Dickens' foot in round 10, punished Dickens throughout the bout.
- The match was mercifully stopped at the end of round 11.
- Galahad is now 2-0 versus Dickens.
