During the three-day period of Wednesday, July 14 through Friday, July 16, three fighters ranked by TTR as being among the best currently campaigning in their respective weight classes were in action. All three, strawweights Ginjiro Shiggeoka and Melvin Jerusalem and junior flyweight Christian Araneta, won.

Strawweight Bout-
Ginjiro Shigeoka (TTR #8, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #8; 6-0, 5 KOs)

Toshiki Kawamitsu (6-1, 3 KOs)
- Shigeoka floored Kawamitsu with a right hook in round 2 but Kawamitsu was able to beat the referee's count. Later in the round, Shigeoka landed a straight left-right hook combination that left Kawamitsu in no condition to continue.
- As a result, Shigeoka successfully retained the WBO Asia Pacific mini-flyweight title.
