During the two-day period of Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30, five fighters ranked by TTR as being among the best currently campaigning in their respective weight classes were in action. Future Hall Of Famer Nonito Donaire knocked out previously undefeated defending champion Nordine Oubaali to win the WBC World bantamweight title, WBC World lightweight champ Devin Haney retained his belt by unanimously outpointing the always dangerous Jorge Linares, and veteran contender Mateusz Masternak won the vacant IBF Intercontinental cruiserweight title.
