During the four-day period of Wednesday, March 31 through Saturday, April 3, six fighters ranked by TTR as being among the best currently campaigning in their respective weight classes were in action. Four, Tim Tszyu, Aleksei Papin, Murodjon Akhmadaliev, and Jamel Herring, were victorious while two, Ryosuke Iwasa and Carl Frampton, lost (to Akhmadaliev and Herring respectively).

- The bout was competitive for four rounds. Akhmadaliev landed a hard combination and hurt Iwasa early in round 5. After absorbing Akhmadaliev's follow-up shots, Iwasa recovered and started to fight back. Akhmadaliev then unleashed another barrage which resulted in the bout being stopped. Iwasa did not seem hurt at the time of the stoppage.
