TTR RANKED FIGHTERS IN ACTION- November 19 through 21- Canoy and Fortuna Win; Roman and Fayfer Suffer Defeats

During the three-day period of Thursday, November 19 through Saturday, November 21, four fighters currently ranked by TTR as Top 15 contenders in their respective weight classes were in action. Two were defeated, Miguel "Mickey" Roman on Thursday and Ruslan Fayfer on Friday and two, Joey Canoy and Javier Fortuna, won convincingly on Saturday.

WBC Silver Super Featherweight Title-
Champion O'Shaquie Foster (WBC #9; 18-2, 11 KOs)
KO-9 0:58
Miguel "Mickey" Roman (WBC #7, The Ring #9, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #10; TTR #15; 62-14, 47 KOs)
- Foster knocked Roman down in round one and round 9.
- Roman was standing and taking punishment wen the bout was stopped.
- Foster was awarded a KO victory as per California State Athletic Commission rules.

Ruslan Fayfer (WBC #8, TTR #13; 25-3, 16 KOs)
- The bout was billed as a light heavyweight contest but Izmailov and Fayfer weighed in at 183 and 185 respectively.
- This was a solid win for the unbeaten prospect Izmailov. Fayfer came into the bout highly ranked as a cruiserweight, both on a world and regional (WBC Asian Boxing Council #2, WBO Asia Pacific #2), WBA Asia #7) level.
