On Saturday, August 22, eight boxers ranked by TTR as being among the best currently fighting in their respective weight classes were in action. Four, Alexander Povetkin, Joe Smith, Jr., Rob Brant, and Shawn Porter, were victorious and four, Dillian Whyte, Ruslan Fayfer, Eleider Alvarez, and Daniel Valladares, were defeated.

Besides Alexey Papin, who stopped Fayfer, and Hugo Hernandez, who outpointed Valladares, Shingo Wake and Zaur Abdullaev may be entering TTR's rankings as the result of bouts they won Saturday.
