On Saturday, August 15, two boxers ranked by TTR as being among the best currently fighting in their respective weight classes were in action. TTR #9 ranked junior lightweight contender Carl Frampton TKOed late substitute Darren Traynor to remain in the running for a shot at the WBO title and TTR #2 ranked super middleweight contender David Benavidez, after forfeiting the WBC title, stopped Roamer Alexis Angulo.
