During the three-day period of Thursday, February 6 through Saturday, February 8, one fighter recognized by TTR as a reigning lineal world champion and eleven others ranked by TTR as being among the best contenders for the lineal titles of their respective divisions were in action. Lineal world junior featherweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux, fighting as a bantamweight, was victorious as were contenders Thanongsak Simsri, Daniel Matellon, Artem Dalakian, Kevin Lerena, Kell Brook, Kid Galahad, Gary Russell, Jr., and Wilfredo Mendez. Suffering defeats were Claudio Marrero (to Galahad), Tugstsogt Nyambayar (to Russell), and Liborio Solis (to Rigondeaux)
