On Saturday, January 18, two boxers ranked by the participating members of TTR as being among the best currently fighting in their respective weight classes were in action. One, Julian "J Rock" Williams, suffered a stunning TKO defeat while the other, Eleider Alvarez, scored an explosive knockout victory.

- Rosario, ranked #17 at 160 by the IBO, came into the bout as a 30:1 underdog.
- After losing the first round, Rosario took over in the second.
- In round five, Rosario hurt Williams with a right-left combination and then battered him repeatedly. Williams went down but referee Benjy Esteves, Jr. ruled he had been pushed to the canvas. Williams rose but only to fall into the ropes after being caught with a right uppercut-left combination. Esteves then wisely stopped the bout.
