- Martinez floored Edwards in round. While Edwards still had a knee on the canvas, Martinez landed a shot to the defending champion's liver. Edwards was counted out and Martinez was announced as the new champion. The replay clearly showed Edwards was fouled and, as a result, the bout was ruled a No Contest.
