During the three-day period of Friday, June 21 through Sunday, June 23, one fighter recognized by TTR as a reigning World Champion and four others ranked by the participating members of TTR as being among the best contenders currently participating in their respective weight classes were in action. Of those five outstanding pugilists, three, Andrew Cancio, Jermell Charlo, and Guillermo Rigondeaux, emerged with victories and two, Alberto Machado and Angel Acosta, suffered defeats.
