On April 6, TTR #7 ranked super flyweight Alejandro Santiago stayed active with an eight-round unanimous decision win over Alfredo Mejia Vargas. On the same card, then WBC #35 ranked lightweight Roberto Ramirez knocked out prospect Miguel Ponce in the first round of their scheduled 10 round contest. Like Ramirez, undefeated Evgeny Shvedenko, on April 27, and former IBF World junior featherweight champion Yukinori Oguni, on May 8, won bouts featuring fighters not currently ranked by TTR which may impact TTR's rankings in the near future.
