Adrian Diaconu injured his foot during training camp. The fight between diaconu and hoye is to determine who Dawson will have the obligation to fight as a defense of his title.





Adding to the march 23rd event`s misfortune is Lucian Bute agreeing in a IBF eliminator fight which makes him unavailable for the event. So Interbox had no choice but to reschedule the event in may for diaconu.





In bute`s case, his IBF eliminator fight will happen june 15th as the main event at the Bell center in Montreal. This fight will determine who will fight the IBF champion which is actualy Alejandro Berrio.





The two possible opponents for Bute were Dennis Inkin who refused, and the other is Juergen Braehmer. Once the opponent is determine, they will have 1 month to reach an agreement or the IBF will make this fight available for bidding.





Rumors are that Berrio is in active negociations with Beyer`s management team for a fight between the two. Lucian Bute could end up fighting Markus Beyer for teh IBF belt if berrio loses against beyer, and bute wins his eliminator bout. Bute could venge the cruel loss his manager Eric Lucas had against beyer in germany.
