He forfeited the WBO and WBC titles. The bout is still for those titles but those belts will only be available to Conceicao. If he wins, he wins them. If he loses or if the bout ends as a draw, those titles will remain vacant.

We have to wait to see if The Ring and the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board also remove recognition from Stevenson. They should but it remains to be seen if they will.

In 2013, Mikey Garcia failed to make weight for his defense of The Ring and the WBO World featherweight titles against Juan Manuel Lopez. The WBO recognized that Garcia had forfeited their title and when he stopped Lopez, their title remained vacant. The Ring inexplicably continued to recognize Garcia as their featherweight champion for another five months. They finally declared their title vacant when Garcia beat Roman "Rocky" Martinez for the WBO World junior lightweight title.

He's still got some growing to do, gather he is moving up to 135 for some bigger fights.

He said there were no more money fights for him at 130 so he's moving up.
The fighters he's beaten aren't even household names in their own household.

There are a few city officials who aren't happy with Shakur right now. This was billed as his homecoming fight, they gave him the keys to the city, they named it Shakur Stevenson Day. Then to come in overweight and not even try to lose the weight doesn't make them look good.

On the flip side Conceicao is going to be happy with the extra money he's getting because of it.

Shakur has landed lots of straight lefts and conceicao doing shit... dropped him with a liver shot with 1 sec left in round 4. Conxeicao froze as soon as the fight started. Was never able to rival Shakur or trade.

WTF from Robson... this is the perfect example of elite challenge unchallenged. Huge strp up and they look like limited fighters

Robson is now fucking hammering rights desperately landing on the pinky part of his fist WTF... Pathetic from TR and his team.

Agree. Shakur is playing on the limit. Ref had to define... ref has let it go. It's borderline for me with some being low

LOL you are not the only one who perceived the performance as dirty. I agree in a way but Robson needed to do something about it. and in the first 2 minutes I could see the straight left from Shakur was a problem from Robson. How can Robson and his corner let that neutralise them... Shows how unchallenged he was... CRAZY talent wasted... like so many fighters from small markets.. its crazy... A promoter has to make it his only purpose to give pro chances to top talents like them

Robson never complained and neither did his corner. That's on them, I agree.
The ref should have called them low blows, though. A lot of them happened right in front of him and he just let it happen.

Anyway, I don't see how well Stevenson will fare at 135 without knockout power. He had Robson hurt a few times, especially in the last round, and couldn't put him away

yeah although he dominated with the timing on the straight left alone... lets see if that will neutralize fighters at 135. I was more disappointed on how puzzled Robson looked 1 minute into the fight than how Shakur did. But Shakur does have all the tools (patience, timing, speed, balance...) to be one of the best in the world.

I was more impressed at how bad TR did with the likes of Robson... train wreck right there... went in with a gameplan that was useless 1 minute into the fight and didnt adapt.
