NOTE: TTR has opted to recognize Saul "Canelo" Alvarez as the Middleweight Champion of the World, Therefore I used Alvarez as CHAMPION and 2-11 as 1-10 for TTR's rankings through 9/18/18. - Kstat

ALSO NOTE: While I strongly disagreed with both the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board and TTR recognizing Alvarez as the champion, the fact remains that both have. In my opinion, following The Ring's lead in this situation was a popular rather than principled decision but being that that decision was made, it would be foolish for me to continue to list the title as vacant when it no longer is. Thus, as of 9/27/18, I am now listing Alvarez as the champion as well.
