Was on the out of town and doing a lot of diving last few days covering a for a lead on a crew we have off the coast in Northern California .
was bumded about Dan McCafferty passing away but the news wasn't to unexpected as he was dealing with health issues that lifelong smokers deal with.
Anyway in the office and looking over a few vids from time to time. Here is the band in 2008 with newly acquired guitarist Jimmy Murison and Lee Agnew (bassist Pete Agnew son) on drums.

Love Hurts 40 years later.
After collapsing on stage 2013 Dan felt he could no longer keep up with the rigorous commitment to tour with the band. he did continue to do some solo concerts and cameo appearances right up untill 2020 supporting his solo album "The Last Testament".

He didnt want a solo album so sound like a Nazareth record.
He did a pretty good job as I have the CD.

today marks 50yrs since Jim Croce died tragically. in an airplane crash.
Here is a piece commemorating his posthumous spike in popularity.
I still listen to this incredible talent from time to time, have most of his studio LP's and 2 CDs, He hit the #1 spot on Billboard Top 100 with Bad Bad Leroy Brown, a folk based jingle while still alive and was having some success marketing his pop genre in mainstream top 40
