Philly is the worst match up for the 49ers. Philly is a really stacked team especially on both sides of the trenches, and it's because they dont have a huge contract tying up their cap at the QB position. The Philly pass rush is better than the cowboys pass rush and 49ers struggled with that last week. It's what kept Purdy from improving and making throws down the field, because he had no time to throw because he couldnt get away from Lawrence or Parsons. Philly went all in the off-season with brining in Jordan Davis, Suh, Robert Quinn, and Linval Joseph, and these guys are the back ups lol. They even have some high draft picks riding the bench on their Oline.

49ers win by dominating the trenches, and dominating Philly in the trenches is not likely.

Establishing the run game and hitting the short out routes could help. I'm sure Shanny has a few new tricks up his sleeve. Debo will not want another factor less showing IMO. It will be no doubt tougher, Purdy still shows a lot of poise and patience under center. Still not making the rookie mistakes that cost games.

The line has pretty much stayed at 2 1/2 Philly which in general is an even game as 3pts is usually a home field variable. Philly has the 17th ranked run defense.
A college game between Oklahoma & Iowa St featuring Hurts & Purdy wound up with a score of 42 - 41 Oklahoma, with Iowa St failing on a 2pt conversion trying for a win instead of a tie.

A very lucky break on their 1st possession on a 4th down incompletion that was missed.
From there it was every break going their way.
The defense kept it interesting but penalties killed the teams chances. Eventually a running into the kicker penalty was ultimately the straw that did it.

The San Francisco 49ers are among the NFL teams who could be headed to the Super Bowl in 2024, but their owner is headed for court, according to the San Francisco Chronicle’s report on a pair of lawsuits:

CEO Jed York has been sued for alleged insider trading and violations of federal securities laws in connection with his service on the board of a Santa Clara-based online educational company.

In two shareholders’ lawsuits, York and other directors of Chegg Inc. stand accused of concealing the company’s role in helping college students cheat on online exams. The company’s revenue soared during the pandemic, as students learned they could use a Chegg account to get real-time answers to questions on college exams administered online, the lawsuits claim.

Chegg’s revenues plunged and the stock price collapsed at the pandemic’s end, as colleges resumed in-person testing and students no longer could use the company’s products to cheat, according to the suits.

The lawsuits also accuse York and Chegg CEO Dan Rosensweig and several other company executives, of unloading Chegg stock for an inflated price without revealing to investors the extent of the cheating scandal. York made $1.4 million in profit on the sale of 20,000 shares, the lawsuits claim.

According to the lawsuits, Chegg’s growth was due to a surge in academic cheating. Colleges find it difficult to monitor students during online exams and, during the pandemic, students realized they could log into Chegg and search the company’s database of academic exams — or even chat with an online Chegg tutor — for answers to test questions in real time. Students often cut and pasted answers into their finals.

“Chegging” became a synonym for cheating on tests, Forbes magazine reported.
