Nick Bosa and the front office have agreed in principle on a 5 yr deal at 170mil, Nick will reportedly be on the field Sun and available to play as the team opens the season in Pittsburgh.

CMC, Deebo, Kittle, Trent Williams, Armstead, Hargrave, Warner, Mooney Ward and now Bosa have big contracts with SF. All these contracts are also back loaded for the next few years. I'm assuming Purdy after his third season will demand a huge deal or he wont play, and how much those back loaded contracts will affect his next contract. 49ers will not be able to sign Aiyuk after this deal.

Phenomenal 1st 1/2 as 9r gang had a lot going right for them with the defense almost shutting em out. 2nd 1/2 looked to be more of the same when CMC broke one for 65yrds. After that the play took to mediocrity and finished at the score of 30 - 7.

Jus got home a while ago, listened on the radio, sounded like the D was spotty in the 1st half, also Purdy missed a few sure big play passes to Aikuk, Jennings & Debo. All in all his bad days still racking up 30pts. Looking for the wood here but with the Gnats up this Thurs if they don't wake up The Brock Purdy Show looks to shine one more week.

Some of the comparisons being made, Purdy might not be such a sure fire hit for most other teams but for this system he is really making the best of this opportunity.

I thought he should have been named rookie of the year last season. He was the best performing rookie and took that level into the playoffs. Purdy isnt as dynamic as the top QBs in the league due to his lack of athleticism and arm talent, but he is really smart, able to read a defense consistently, go through his progressions and makes the right decision with the football. Yeah he's had a lot of "would be interceptions" throws, but a lot of QBs have them too.

Purdy is great in this west coast offense system. He has guys who live off the YAC with Deebo and Kittle. The best catching RB and FB with CMC and Juice, and a true #1 WR with Ayuik. This team will go as far as Purdy will take them. Our issue is Philly on paper is better, and that's scary. They got a better QB, and OLine, and faster WRs, and their defenses are just as good as the other.

Traveling back to the bay from Lake County in a bit. Should be home by kickoff, Murry & Brown can always decide to wake up and have a good game but not today.

9rs took a nap in the 3rd quarter but still managed to put up 30+ points. CMC is managing to steel some of Purdy's spotlight setting franchise records at his position and topping Rice in consecutive games with a TD. He is on pace to having an MVP year.
Up next is the Cowpies who managed to come out of their shell this past weekend.

The team was on fire hitting on all cylinders from both sides of the ball. Starters getting the night off early as the mop up crew was out early fourth quarter.
