Re: TTR/TBRB/The Ring/WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO/IBO- latest ratings
The WBC's January 2021 ratings, based on results up to January 9, 2021, were posted on the WBC's website on January 16, 2021. The biggest changes are that Saul Alvarez is now the WBC World super middleweight champion (the title had been VACANT), Rey Vargas, listed last month as the WBC's "Champion in Recess" for the super bantamweight division, is now the #1 ranked featherweight contender, and Reymart Gaballo, listed at #26 in the bantamweight ratings, is now the bantamweight division's Interim World champion.
The WBO's December 2020 rankings were posted on the WBO's website January 23, 2021 with the footnote, "Ranking As of December 19, 2020." The rankings, however, are actually based on results through January 2, 2021.
There are two new #1 ranked contenders: Wisaksil Wangek (AKA Srisaket Sor Rungvisai), up from #7, at 115 and Masataka Taniguchi, up from #3, at 105.
The IBO's January 2021 computerized rankings were posted on the IBO's website January 23, 2021. The previously vacant IBO World super middleweight title is now held by Carlos Gongora. There are also 3 new #1 contenders: Callum Smith (168), Nonito Donaire (118), and Ricardo Rafael Sandoval (112)
