March Banzuke released
The fighters he's beaten aren't even household names in their own household.

Re: March Banzuke released
There’s been some great sumo in this months tourney. A rookie, for the first time in 110 years, will win the tournament tomorrow with a win. The only other rikishi in the running is also new to the division as this is only his second tournament in it.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but rest assured I've been keeping tabs on the Sumo. Takerufuji's achievement was astounding indeed.Primetyme199 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 1:02 pm There’s been some great sumo in this months tourney. It's too bad that Terunofuji the Yokozuna can never seem to stay healthy for multiple Tournaments. He won in January. He's always formidable when healthy, but he seems to have to sit out more than he can compete.
If Takerufuji can keep up the way he's doing. He'll be a Yokozuna in record time.
Onosato seems like he'll be very formidable too. I expect those 2 will be joining the higher ranks very soon.

I expect them both to move up quickly. I think you’ll see Terunofuji stay until there is another Yokozuna or at least as long as he can until pressured by the association.gilgamesh wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 1:33 pmSorry I haven't posted in a while, but rest assured I've been keeping tabs on the Sumo.
