Wow, I am losing all the fighters I grew with. It's funny the other day, as a joke I transferred $100 to my wife's account for services rendered. The security question "Who is the hardest puncher in boxing history?" It took a while but she figured in a game of hangman. In the mid 90s my cousin, who was in prison, got to meet Earnie Shavers. My cousin only knew he was a former fighter. When my cousin got out in April 2007, I showed him some footage of Shavers destroying fighters. Holmes put it best, getting hit by Shavers was like getting hit by a mack truck, whereas getting hit by Tyson was like getting hit by a Corvette.
