UFC San Diego this past Saturday drew 797,000 viewers on ESPN with it getting 356,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.

The main card on ESPN finished 5th overall on cable Saturday after the 4 NFL Preseason games on the NFL Network. The Prelims finished 9th overall.

The main card which featured Marlon Vera and Dominick Cruz drew 0.27 in the A18-49 demo, 0.16 in F18-49, 0.39 in M18-49, 0.20 in A18-34, 0.12 in F12-34, 0.19 in M12-34, 0.32 in A25-54 and 0.35 in over 50.

The prelims drew 0.15 in the A18-49, 0.06 F18-49, 0.23 M18-49, 0.09 A18-34, 0.12 F12-34, 0.10 M12-34, 0.19 A25-54 and 0.22 in over 50.

The ratings are better than last week’s show from The Apex which drew 734K viewers and 310K in the A18-49 demo and the prelims drew 191K viewers.

Saturday’s event did have an intriguing main feature of Dominick Cruz and Marlon Vera.
The fighters he's beaten aren't even household names in their own household.

I’m not, other then the main event there wasn’t much of a draw on paper. The actual fights on the card though were gooooooood.

The main event is why I thought more would watch. And I would have thought those who watched the other fights would have told people they need to tune in.
