Yes drummer passed away a few days ago.
Since joining in 72 he and Chris Squire who died in 2015 provided the backbone for, with the exception of Jon Anderson, a constantly changing line up.

Any Member of a Progressive Rock band has to be a virtuoso talent on their chosen instrument, and Alan was indeed that.
Sadly on I believe the same day we also lost Andy Fletcher, the Keyboardist for Depeche Mode who is another one of my all time favorite bands.
You hate to see the great music makers go. Especially when nobody has come behind them that can fill their shoes.
