R.I.P. Emmanuel "Mike" Agassi (12/25/30-9/24/21)

R.I.P. Mike Maret (12/29/43-9/25/21)

Listed below are results from title bouts of any kind and bouts featuring at least one boxer with a winning record including at least 10 victories. Bouts of special interest which do not meet the stated criteria may be included on occasion. A reason why a bout not meeting that criteria is listed will be provided.

Results will include, when applicable, divisional and Pound-For-Pound rankings of TTR and Top 10 divisional and Pound-For-Pound rankings of the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board and The Ring.

HEAVYWEIGHTS:

Saturday, September 25-

Oleksandr Usyk (TTR #9, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #10, The Ring #10; TTR #3 P4P, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #4 P4P, The Ring #4 P4P; 19-0, 13 KOs)
Unan. Dec. 12
Anthony Joshua (TTR #1, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #1, The Ring #1; 24-2, 22 KOs)
- Usyk weighed in at 221 1/4; Joshua at 240.
- Joshua's IBF, WBO, WBA Super, and IBO World titles were on the line.
- The scores were 117-111, 116-112, and 115-113.
- Scoring the bout for TTR's Main Page, I also had Usyk winning, 116-112. In my opinion, Usyk swept the first four rounds, Joshua won four of the next five, and Usyk nailed down the victory by winning rounds 10, 11, and 12.
