Top Rank Boxing on Saturday night drew 416,000 viewers on Saturday night as the event from Mexico City followed the UFC on ESPN per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.

Top Rank Boxing drew 0.27 in the A18-49 demo and 0.14 in the M12-34 demo, the two highest scoring demos for the telecast.

The event featured Miguel Berchelt as he defeated Eleazar Valenzuela in a junior lightweight matchup.

With help from the UFC, the peak viewership for the Top Rank event occurred at 11:43pm ET, which was due in part to the overrun from the MMA main event. The Top Rank peak was 793,000 viewers as the telecast, which was set to start at 11pm ET, actually started 43 minutes later.

The Berchelt-Valenzuela fight drew an average of 349,000 viewers with a peak of 381,000 during the fight.

Payout Perspective:

Clearly, Top Rank is benefitting from the UFC as a lead-in. However, viewers are quickly leaving based on the timing of the peak viewership for the telecast. Top Rank telecasts have not fared well since coming back and only garner a fraction of what the UFC produces.
The fighters he's beaten aren't even household names in their own household.

"Never shall innocent blood be shed. Yet the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river. The three shall spread their blackened wings and be the vengeful striking hammer of god."
