Canelo v Murata?

Post by jeff_lacy_ko »

In talks. Seems dazn letting canelo and ggg take showcase type fights before matching them in September

The fight sucks murata brings little to trouble canelo. Im hoping its a smokescreen.

Ya not what any of us wanted, though I've read Canelo wants to fight in Japan and I am all for top-tier guys travelling more. It adds a bit of spark to the fights for me. Judging in Japan might be the fairest in the world, and the crowds are always excited but respectful. Japan is simply a great combat sport country.

I agree with Tocsin. The matchup might suck, but if the fight is held in Japan, that would be cool to get global exposure there. It might be wishful thinking, but maybe get Monster as a co headliner lol

Sure but instead of Cinco de Mayo, I'd suggest Pearl Harbor day.

Seems BJS or Callum Smith were just wishful thinking...

Of course they were. When will DAZN realize that Canelo is on his own program? And it's just naive to think that Canelo will fight GGG after this garbage fight.

Yup, There is no reason for Canelo to fight GGG next. Canelo makes the same money, whether he fights a fight throwing Kov or a no-hoper. Risking a loss against GGG is not on his agenda.
