Jus looked Ponce De Leon record and dont see an asian guy in the list. Could of swore he had a one punch overhand corkscrew right hand that had him out cold.

I can't remember if it stopped the fight, but I love that picture perfect counter left hook by Donald Curry to put down Milton McCrory hard.

Mike Tyson KO of Michael Johnson is up there for me.
Re: Best one punch KO in history?
"In history" is a tall order, but for the last 10 years, Pacquiao was involved in two of the best ones I recall at the top level, both on the giving end with Hatton, and the receiving end with Marquez.

Re: Best one punch KO in history?
These are not KOs of where the fighter on the other end had a blackout, but these one punch finishes are always memorable for me. Tarver's punch on Roy was so shocking and Tzyu's one punch ending of Zab was super memorable as well.
Re: Best one punch KO in history?
The two that come to my mind were technically a 1-2 punch combo but in both cases, Foreman/Moorer and Lewis/Rahman 2, the jab was not so much a punch as a screen.

Donaire vs Montiel
Didn’t end the fight, but I always loved the way Montiel sizzled on the canvas after going down. The fight ended seconds later

'Sizzling Bacon Legs', was one of the funniest sayings in message board history. Still laugh about that to this day....Donaire vs Montiel

Re: Best one punch KO in history?
So classic that somebody mentioned Zuri Lawrence. I've actually created him recently on a Boxing game, and am playing as him in fights that go the distance one after the other.
I wondered to myself if I'm one of the only people on Earth who would play as dudes like this just for the hell of it
I genuine struggle as him too. Barely got a .500 record.
Have botched it slightly though as I've accidentally knocked out a few guys with counter punches. Zuri would've never done that

Yeah he was a KTFO artist at 168... drama too since he was a little chinny...
The "Is he dead" type of KO you are referring to was vs Francisco Mora
Can't find it and the gif i had made doesn't work anymore...

Beautiful left hook, it landed so quickly and so short it almost seemed animated. Surprisingly McCroy beat the count but was then flattened by a right hand.
McCallum's left hand that put Curry to sleep, was sweet too. Julian Jackson's left hook that stopped Buster Drayton was pretty bad ass as well.

Some of these are really good. Jackson's over Graham might be the single best turnaround shit in the history of boxing. Graham was killing him up until that point.

Jackson v Norris. I know technically it wasn’t the very end, but his lights were out instantly

I know this is about boxing, but there are 2 MMA fights that come to mind for me....
Henderson vs. Bisping 1 and Conor vs. Aldo.

I don't know. This thread brought back some memories.
In more recent memory, probably Martinez on Williams.
