Yep will never forget either. Had such a nice presence on the board... made it 10 times better. he was like glue to link every one together... great guy with a great approach and transcended respect and neutrality

It's awesome that Lurky and Astor remind us of our first Mod and the first TTR hall of fame member.... Scappose John will be forever linked w/ the best boxing website on the net, bar none....

Simply the best of the best. One of my fondest memories of TTR was getting together as an online family to send John's family from TTR as a brother/sisterhood.

John gave so much to TTR. He had the perfect demeanor to moderate and a uncanny knack for turning a phrase at just the right time. As Daniel said, "Simply the best of the best."
