White actively working on Brock Lesnar vs Jon Jones

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar, is still plying his trade for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and has yet to enter the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) six-month drug-testing pool, a requirement before stepping back inside the Octagon after an extended leave of absence.

Similarly, ex-light heavyweight kingpin, Jon Jones, is still suspended by USADA for his drug-testing woes last July, which not only landed him in time out, but also stripped him of the 205-pound strap, currently housed at Daniel Cormier’s man-cave in San Jose.

That’s why a potential Lesnar vs. Jones super fight seems unlikely, but promotion president Dana White sounds confident that will all change in the next couple of months, just as soon as “Bones” makes peace with USADA and Lesnar wraps up (or freezes) his WWE duties.

“Jon Jones is very interested in Brock Lesnar and Brock is very interested in Jon Jones,” White told TMZ Sports. “I’ll end up figuring that out in the next month. I don’t know how that’s gonna play out. That’s up to USADA.”

Jones (22-1, 1 NC) will also need to have his license reinstated in California before applying elsewhere.

Lesnar (5-3, 1 NC) recently signed a new deal with WWE but it’s structured to allow a UFC one-off should the “Beast Incarnate” want to throw hands inside the cage. The soon-to-be 41 year-old brute hasn’t competed since July 2016, when his unanimous decision win over Mark Hunt was overturned to a “No Contest” after his drug test returned positive for creamy feet.

See you in December?

Just did a quick search and neither fighter has been tested so far this year.

I guess Dana isn't going to try for Brock vs the winner of Stipe/Cormier after all.

I can see this fight taking place on some yacht in international waters because neither can pass a drug test.

Under cards being chimp knife fights.
