GGG no doubt
On fight night Canelo weighed 177 pound and GGG weighed 168.2. But Canelo says the fight for his 160 pound belt must be at 155 pounds. She should just give her belt to GGG now and move on.

You would have to score every close round to Canelo to get a draw.

GGG.
The fighters he's beaten aren't even household names in their own household.

Every poll I've seen on Boxing forums has GGG winning with over 70% of the vote. The result was clear.

Only someone who gave Canelo every benefit could score this fight a draw. CLear GGG win in a good tight fight

Seams like most people on here have this a toss up fight. GGG only has 25+ person lead.

But, but, EYE CATCHING!

It was competitive, but GGG deserved it. A draw or a card for Canelo is lazy and superficial judging that gives way too much credit for Canelo's far spaced out bursts that seemed flashy but really did no notable damage. His punches looking 'nice' simply doesn't cut it for me when he was backpeddling, resting on the ropes, and getting hit as much as he was. His D was solid, but not solid enough given how much GGG was throwing and how little he was throwing; this was no Mayweather effectiveness display where he outlands someone despite working way less.

It seems, with the way some people score, his flashiness means he goes into fights having to do much less than his opponents....outworked and outlanded pretty much all round? Who cares when you can shoeshine for a second or two like that!!

No one I know had this fight a draw or Canelo winning unless I go online and see comments on ESPN's articles or look on this forum. Everyone on the chat had GGG up big. If you had it a draw or for Canelo, you hate GGG or are a Canelo homer.

lol. yeah GGG won that fight.

I think even scoring it a draw would be a bit off.

I love the comments on youtube, watched it there and it was not the clearest video. Anyway, one guy had Canelo winning 9 to 3 in rounds. Saying Canelo the first 6 and last 3.

I'll watch the this Saturday and score it. Video too crappy on youtube.

GGG won in a nice fight where he beat up Canelo slowly but surely.

The interesting thing is that you can tell he watched Oscar growing up. He knows that when he hears that 10 seconds left pounding on the mat that he needs to throw flashy combinations. It's exactly what Oscar did and got credit for it just the same. The most recent punches are the punches you remember the best. It's just how the human mind thinks.

Rolls his head with the shots better than anyone since Oscar as well. Many similarities there.
